The Naughty Monkey

Once upon a time, there was a naughty monkey. He lived in a jungle with his family. He was very naughty and mischievous that he never obey the elders. He did whatever he wants to do.

One day while the monkeys were playing he saw two carpenters are going carrying heavy bags. He was curious enough that he started to follow them. Seeing this one of the old monkeys said, “dear little one, don’t follow them. They are going for their work. You need not interfere in that.”

The naughty monkey didn’t like that. He said furiously, “ You old!!, keep quiet, I know what should do. If I need advice I will ask you.”

The naughty monkey followed the men and reached a village. The two men sat and started to work. The monkey sat on a tree and closely watched. The two men were carpenters and were cutting a big piece of wood. They were cutting the wood using a saw blade. After some time stopped working and went to have some food. But before going, they put a piece of wood in the crack of the wood, so they can easily start work on arrival.

The naughty money didn’t understand why they put the piece of wood in between the half-split log. When he saw the carpenters go far away, he climbed down the tree and sat on the big wood and started to shake the wedge that the carpenters kept over there.

Seeing this the old monkey came there and told “ oh, what are you doing? Don’t do mischievous things. The carpenters have some purpose of doing this, we don’t know don’t interfere in others matter.”

The monkey didn’t like his advise and looked at him angrily. At last, he succeeded in pulling out the wedge, but his tail stuck between the crack of the half-split log. He screamed loudly. And he jumped from the log, but this made his tail cut. He ran towards the forest with the bleeding tail. That day onwards he never did mischievous things

Moral of the story: Never poke your nose on others work.
